Four years ago I spent a semester in Central Europe.  We lived in Vienna, Austria, but traveled every other weekend and often on Wednesdays (when we had no school).  I thought it would be fun to pull up some old pictures to post on this blog over the next four months.

Bratislava is a charming little capital city just up the Danube River from Vienna.  If you ask any locals about their history, be prepared to get an earful about Maria Theresa.
Then, if you're following a map to points of interest around the city, watch carefully!  They just might pass you by.
